I have long been drawn to the power of story and the way it shapes who we are. During my graduate studies in counseling, I began to notice how healing takes root when we give language to our stories and allow others to hold them with care. Over the years, I have seen again and again that we are not defined by the harm we have endured—yet our experiences of harm do profoundly shape the way we see ourselves, others, and even God. When those stories are met with attunement, honesty, and compassion, new pathways of freedom and wholeness begin to open.

My years of serving on retreats for survivors of abuse gave me a front-row seat to the profound healing that can unfold in community. In my own journey, I have also experienced the gift of safe spaces where I could bring my story and be met with kindness. This led me to join a story group for my own ongoing healing and, later, to complete advanced training in Trauma Focused Narrative Group Care through The Art of Living Counseling Center in 2024.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals in both Michigan and Oregon. In that work, I have continually returned to the truth that our nervous systems are shaped—and healed—in relationship. Where care was once absent or distorted, it is a holy thing to receive the kind of care our hearts were made for.

It has long been my hope to create a space where story, community, and healing can come together. I am delighted to step into that dream now, alongside my friend and colleague Andrea. My heart is to attune to the places within you that have been overlooked or silenced, to honor the beauty that is uniquely yours, and to walk with you into the freedom of being more fully known.

I am so excited to be in this space offering care and support for your good stories. I fell in love with this work several years ago when I started my journey with the Allender Center and began my training experience. I noticed how much it transformed my life more than any other work that I had been doing. It is remarkable what can happen when we experience the goodness of other people stepping into our story and naming both the beauty and the pain. Our hearts long to be seen and known, and this work is just that. It is a coming home to the places that have been cast out or pushed aside.

I am trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through the Allender Center at the Seattle School of Psychology. My passion is creating spaces where it is safe to bring stories that shape who we are and finding the beauty within them. I believe that we all were created to bring beauty just by being who we are, and yet so often that beauty gets buried beneath pain, shame, and experiences of harm. We were never meant to do this work alone. I am honored to walk into these places and delighted to discover the beauty that is uniquely you.

I have my own coaching practice, Restored Beauty , for individual coaching work. But I truly believe that sharing our stories in a group setting is where the magic happens. When we bring ourselves to this good, hard work of sharing our story with others, we get to experience the beauty of being known and seen by a community that is safe and kind. It doesn’t get much better than that.
